ABOUT THE AUTHOR

Carmon Green

My name is Carmon Green. I proudly identify as a Black woman, a devoted follower of Christ, and a dedicated wife. My greatest joys stem from nurturing my two biological adult sons, cherishing my beautiful stepdaughter, and guiding my two intelligent stepsons through their formative years.

Raised in Philadelphia, Pa., by a resilient single mother alongside three siblings, my early years were marked by humble beginnings and formidable challenges. Seeking solace, I found refuge and purpose within my community church, where I was called to serve as an ordained deaconess for a decade, offering spiritual support to those in need.

About the Book

What In Hell Does God Want

Who made the unwritten rule that we need to ignore our mental health and suffer in silence? In a secret evaluation of self, do you experience anxiety, manipulation, fear of being judged, hurting others with a lack of empathy, crying and hating yourself, satisfied with blaming others while justifying your bad behaviors, even when you are in the wrong? Do you ever wonder where these traits come from and why you’re comfortable enough with them that you make excuses not to seek help? Well, you are not alone.

Chapter # 1:

When unexpected violence strikes, it sends shockwaves through a group of friends already struggling with the weight of their complicated lives.

Chapter # 2:

The emotional fallout from a violent confrontation weighs heavily on one of the central figures. The guilt is unbearable, as past decisions are questioned...

Chapter # 3:

A seemingly ordinary meeting sets off a chain reaction of events, leaving everyone involved grappling with the fallout.

About the Book

Written In Stone

“Written In Stone” by Carmon Green is a crime thriller and legal drama that follows Brenda Holt, the newly appointed African American Chief of Police in a city in Georgia. Her tenure is immediately tested by an elusive serial active shooter case, internal departmental skepticism, political pressure, and a crumbling marriage. The narrative escalates when Brenda herself becomes the prime suspect in the very massacre she is investigating, leading to a high-stakes trial that ends in a mistrial. The story is a complex web of professional duty, personal betrayal, and the quest for truth in a system rife with corruption and doubt.
